Thirty-seven inches of aged oak — its texture carrying the appearance of a century of use before it ever left the workshop. The handle is thick, naturally crooked, shaped by hand and treated with a deep green patina that gives it a colour found nowhere else in this collection.

Set into the handle in gold lettering — tangible, raised, impossible to miss — a quote from King Solomon himself: "Omnia transeunt. Et id quoque etiam transeat."

Everything passes. And this too shall pass.

Except it will not pass quietly. Not with gold letters. Not with a green patina this distinctive. Not with the "Zaira" monogram of master craftsman Zakhar Alekseievich signed discreetly into the piece as a permanent mark of authenticity.
